What Have I Learned So Far?

Prairie View and life in general has taught me so many things in the four years I have attended, both positive and negative. School is hard when you do not prioritize assignments and deadlines. Read all the textbooks your professors assign in the classes, you will not learn anything if you do not as it is suppose to help with the lessons for a better understanding. Always read the syllabus, it has ALL the information you will ever need to be successful in class. It gives you percentage of your grades, important assignments and their deadlines and it has ways to contact the professor in case you need them! It is important information that is just given to you, so use it!! ALWAYS attend class! Attending class helps you to never miss a lecture or an in class assignment. At times you might want to sleep in a bit more or just not want to go to class, but when you have to pay for the class, you might as well attend the 50 minutes and try to learn something from it. It will benefit you later in the semester as you know all the information from each class! Plus, sometimes the professor makes attendance mandatory and as a part of the final grade, so you must attend just in case.
